Profile Ahmad Hussain (About Ahmad Hussain) - Ahmad Hussain UK born singer/songwriter, executive producer and founder of IQRA Promotions started to explore his interest in music and performance at a very early age. He had high ambitions to move forward in the music industry until he was met with many challenges in his life.
It was at this crucial stage in his career that Ahmad was met with a tragic death in his family. He lost his sister at the tender age of 28, who died suddenly while participating in a sporting activity. This prompted Ahmad to question his own life and he began searching for answers.
Ahmad began to look more deeply into his faith and found the inner peace and tranquillity he had been searching for in the material and false world. Ahmad became very inspired by the first revelation which came down via angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) The message was clear “IQRA” (Read)
In 2004 Ahmad set up IQRA Promotions a medium by which he could promote peace and unity through the art of performance. In 2006 He met with Kamal Uddin and produced the hit album "Illallah" Ahmad released his first single in 2009 entitled Aye Khuda which reached No1 on International Television, five weeks consecutively.
In 2010 Ahmad released his debut album "I Turn To You" the album consists of inspirational nasheeds in English, Urdu and Arabic with thought provoking lyrics that leave the listener on a spiritual high. Ahmad has travelled to many countries around the world and has performed alongside many renowned artist including Maher Zain and speaker Attallah Shabaz, daughter of Malcolm X.
Ahmad was one of the judges on an increasingly popular Television show, "Ummah Talent" Ahmad became a very popular member of the judging panel as he was know for introducing musical terms such as Vibrato, Legato and Staccato.
